Abstract

The primary objective of the research study was to investigate the impact of rewards on the performance of Gulf University's administrative staff. The study established two distinct objectives: to assess the effect of intrinsic rewards on employee performance; and to investigate the influence of extrinsic rewards on employee performance. This study provides the administration of Gulf University with insightful recommendations concerning possible improvements to the reward system. The study employed quantitative techniques for data collection. The quantitative data was gathered via a customised online survey, which was successfully completed by 39 members of the administrative staff at Gulf University. The data underwent a meticulous analysis utilizing the SPSS software. In addition to regression analysis, correlation analysis, and frequency analysis, the researcher conducted a number of other statistical analyses. A significant and positive correlation was observed between the dependent and independent variables, according to the study's findings. According to statistical results, 0.784 and 0.847 were in virtually perfect coincidence which is nearly 1. Aside from the contrary, the regression results had shown that both intrinsic and extrinsic motivators had a strong positive impact on employee performance. The results indicate data is highly reliable as well.
