About the Journal

Journal of Humanities and Society (JOHAS) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research at the intersection of the humanities and social sciences. The journal aims to foster critical inquiry into human culture, values, institutions, and societal transformations in both local and global contexts.

JOHAS seeks to:

  • Promote innovative and rigorous scholarship in humanities and social sciences

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

The journal is published Quarterly (4 issues per year: January, April, July, October).

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

This journal provides immediate OPEN ACCESS to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published by TP are made immediately available worldwide under an open access license. This means that everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of all articles published. 

Open Access business model is adopted by JOHAS. 

ARCHIVING

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
